Bio

Ron Caughron has been a licensed realtor since July 2004. Before joining SVN/Menish Commercial Real Estate, he was Managing Director at SVN/Premier CRE & Auctions and prior to SVN he was a broker with RE/MAX Performance Realty/Commercial Division in Shelbyville, KY, a small town about 20 miles east of Louisville,KY where he still resides.

Before he started his real estate career he spent a successful 30 year career in financial services where he attained top management positions and a continual record of high performance. He also served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Kentucky Consumer Finance Association and also on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Consumer Finance Association.

He has been and continues to be active in his community as a past member of the Board of Directors of the Shelbyville Country Club, one of the founders and past president of the Shelby County Community Charities, and formerly served as Vice Chairman of the board of The Shelby County Community Foundation, past board member and trustee Kosair Charities, past board member Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. Currently he is a member of the Shelbyville, KY Kiwanis Club, currently serves as Board Treasurer of The Masonic Homes of Kentucky, Board member and past President of the Dorman Preschool Center, Board UL Health - Shelbyville Hospital, Board UL Health Foundation.

He holds the elite Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, as well as, the Certified International Property Specialist designation (CIPS) is highly motivated and he believes in giving superior customer service and has what he calls "the Sundown Rule", if you leave him a message he will make every attempt to contact you back before the day is over.

Some of his clients include Citizens Union Bank, Kelly Services, Wells Fargo Advisors, Cox Interiors and Sprint to mention just a few.
