Jim Damiani, CCIM, SIOR, is an executive managing director of Newmark's Minneapolis-St. Paul office and designated broker for Minnesota brokerage operations. An established industry leader, Mr. Damiani is among the most successful and widely recognized market leaders in the Minneapolis commercial real estate market.

A highly experienced tenant representation specialist, Mr. Damiani is known for his proactive approach, solid relationships, detailed market knowledge and superior negotiating skills that formulate his client service delivery. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, he is an expert at the intricacies of real estate, saving his clients between 20% and 75% on occupancy costs. His knowledge of workplace strategies promoting efficient
workspace and current market conditions, along with his vast professional network, helps him secure the best possible terms for his clients. His financial background complements his client advisory, which includes indepth financial analysis and assessment.

Prior to joining Newmark in 2017, Mr. Damiani was a senior vice president at Colliers International, where he was a 16-time Office Salesperson of the Year. His numerous industry recognitions also include Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) Broker of the Year and Volunteer of the Year, CoStar Power Broker, Minneapolis Business Journal 40 Under 40 Winner and many more. Additionally, Mr. Damiani is the former chairperson of the City of New Hope Planning Commission and is a frequent speaker/moderator for numerous industry organizations including the MNCAR, NAIOP, CCIM, SIOR, Bisnow, and Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA).
