Paul McDowell is a commercial real estate investment consultant advising upon cross border transactions with particular expertise in Ireland, UK, France, Germany and Europe in general.
Paul joined Ganly Craigie in 1979, out of which Ganly Walters was formed in 1985. He became CEO of Ganly Walters in 1988, which became part of the Knight Frank Group from 2007 through to May 2013. Paul also acted as Head of Investment for Knight Frank Ireland.
While Head of Investment, Paul focused on Ireland, UK and European transactions. He has undertaken the disposal and acquisition of primarily Retail, Office and industrial deals, combined with strategic development advice and a knowledge of structures/funding issues. For a major wealth asset management client, Paul helped build a property portfolio of over €1bn across France and Germany retaining a current ongoing asset management role. Similarly, he put together the Le Premier Funds and asset managed 20 buildings across France.
More recently, Paul has advised both Irish and European investors on a range of investment transactions in Ireland, UK, France and Germany.
The Le Premier Funds now concentrate on office & industrial development in the South of France and have just launched 5 projects with a total development value of €45m+
