OVERVIEW

Committees are appointed by SIOR's Board of Directors and report to the Board of Directors, the CLC (Chapter Leadership Council), or MCC (Member Coalition Council), offering guidance on SIOR Global policies and procedures.

DESCRIPTION

The Education Committee will consist of a Chair, two Vice Chairs, and a number of members as specified in each subcommittee. The Committee reports to the Member Coalition Council.

Next Level Series & Webinar Series Subcommittee – Responsible for oversight of the Next Level Series and Yearly Webinar Series content. The Subcommittee will review content for relevancy of topics, with an eye on changes in the industry, and recommend changes on an annual or as-needed basis. (Initially, this Subcommittee will be comprised of the Education Taskforce Members.)

Conference Education Subcommittee – Responsible for the oversight of keynote and breakout programming at SIOR Global Conferences. This Subcommittee will not have oversight of any conference-related programs or logistics beyond the content for keynote and breakout sessions (This Subcommittee will be comprised of members from the former Conference Committee.)

2 years | November 2025 - October 2027

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS & CONSIDERATIONS

Conference Education Subcommittee: At least one member must be a Young Professional. These committee members should be regularly attending conferences and past conference attendance will be considered when selecting members.
