2017 Fall World Conference Ambassador for New and Prospective Members

SIOR seeks Active Designees to serve as Ambassadors to a new SIOR Designee or prospective SIOR member at the Fall World Conferences in Chicago from October 26-28 at the Palmer House in Chicago, IL.

WHO: Active SIOR Designees who have attended at least two World Conferences in the past four years

WHEN: The obligations are limited to the time of the conference only. However, we encourage you to serve as a resource after the conference. 

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Reach out to the New Member or prospective member prior to the Conference to introduce yourself and determine first meeting point on-site
• At the beginning of each conference day, meet and offer yourself as resource for questions and general information
• Help orient and a provide description of the conference program and daily schedule -- Highlight sessions of value, such as the General Sessions, Breakout Sessions, Exhibit Hall, etc. of your choice
• Facilitate introductions with other SIOR members
• Meet in between sessions or during breakfast/lunch, if available
• Walk through Exhibit Hall together
