OVERVIEW
Our mission is to support educational programs, scholarship programs, and research projects that will educate, enhance, and expand the commercial real estate industry. By increasing knowledge and supporting the next generation of professionals, we are working to attract a more diverse and sustainable workforce for the future. This work could not be done without the vision and leadership of Foundation volunteers.
DESCRIPTION
This committee performs the executive management of the Foundation and formulates policies and action proposals to the Board of Trustees.
TERM LENGTH
3 years | November 2025 - October 2028
MEETINGS & PARTICIPATION
In-Person | 2x per year, held in conjunction with the SIOR Global conferences
SIOR Foundation Trustees are expected to attend at least one (1) semi-annual Board of Trustees meeting per year.
ADDITIONAL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- Annual financial support of at least $1,000 per year
- Fundraising events
- Annual Phone-a-thon (in-person or virtual)
- Participation in at least one committee: Fundraising, Grants and Scholarship, or Public Relations
- Meet at semi-annual meetings and work via conference calls between meetings
- Expand awareness and knowledge about the Foundation in my local SIOR chapter and markets
- Proactively seek out worthy projects for potential Foundation support in accordance with the Foundation's mission
