WHO CAN ATTEND
SIOR dues paying Active Office, Industrial, Dual Office/Industrial Members, or Candidates (in the Carolinas) that are in good standing may attend with no registration fee. The spouse/guest (guest is defined as a significant other) registration category is available to all spouse/guest of registered member attendees only. Associate/Affiliate members (Education exempt) in the Carolinas must sponsor or pay the non-sponsor associate full convention fee. Associate/Affiliate members outside of the Carolinas must sponsor to attend. Industry professionals that are not members must sponsor to attend.

Thursday, August 25th
7:00 am - 1:00 pm Smallmouth Bass Fishing on the French Broad (Sold Out) Front Lobby Entrance
The renowned guides at Davidson River Outfitters will be your hosts for a great morning on the water! You will be picked up at the Grand Bohemian and transported to the nearby French Broad River for a morning of fishing. The French Broad River is full of feisty smallmouth bass that are eager to take a well presented fly or lure of your choice. Feel free to bring your own gear or take advantage of the gear provided by Davidson River Outfitters. After the trip, you will be taken back to the Grand Bohemian.
Participants can choose either Fly Fishing or Light Tackle Fishing.
Included: Two anglers per boat, all necessary gear for the trip, guides, transportation to and from the Grand Bohemian in Asheville.
Not Included: Valid NC Fishing License $31 - if you do not already have one. (Link will be sent in confirmation email along with recommended clothing options and other information)
Cost: $200 per angler (based on 2 anglers per boat)

7:30 am Early Bird Golf at Grove Park (Optional Event, $)
This historic course was originally designed by Donald Ross in 1926 and was overhauled in 2001 to ensure the course had the same feel and spirit as it did in the 1920's. Since then, it has earned recognition from Conde Nast Traveler and made it to the Top 20 Southern U.S Golf Resorts in 2011.
Included: Greens Fee, Cart, Tax, and Bag Handling

This 90 minute guided tour will include a 30 minute presentation by your guide on the history of the company as well as the beer ingredients. The following 30 minutes will be a walkthrough of the brewing facility. with the final 30 minutes saved for an educational tasting in the Grand Tasting Room. The group will sample some of the beers and have some free time to shop or explore the grounds.
Included: Private 90 minute tour and tasting + round trip transportation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
"Cancellations, No-shows and early departures that have not been confirmed, or any cancellations that drop SIOR Carolinas below the contracted group block will be assessed the quoted rates unless the room night can be re-sold. Reservations received later than the cut-off date will be made on a space available basis at prevailing rates. Hotel room cancellations must be received in writing to Leslie Hartley at eventsems@bellsouth.net. We cannot accept reservations or changes by phone."
SIOR has to pay for all food and beverage events whether a registered member shows or not. We can't cancel after SIOR has given the final guarantee to the hotel. Our chapter has to commit to and pay for these up front. We make that commitment based on the number we have registered by the cancellation deadline on July 26th, 2016.
The no-show or cancellation fee after July 26, 2016 for the Fall Carolinas Conference is $225.
A $30 Change Order Fee will be applied to any registration changes.
Please note the no-show fee will be accessed even if you do not have a registration fee.
If you have unpaid cancellation/no show fees, you will not be permitted into the conference until payment has been received.
