JOYCE M. SLONE, SIOR, CCIM, Founder, Principal, and Managing Broker of SLONE COMMERCIAL LLC, is the architect of a highly successful career in the commercial real estate industry. She has served clients on both sides of the real estate transaction, providing hands-on assistance, market expertise, and competitive advantage in cultivating, structuring, and closing deals. Joyce was one of the first women in the Chicagoland area to be recognized by both the Society of Industrial Realtors (SIOR) and the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM), earning their respective designations as a top professional in the trade.
Born into a real estate family, Joyce developed an interest in helping others at a young age. She gained an appreciation for the real estate business while working at her father’s construction and development company, and saw how a company’s choice of space could drive growth. Joyce set out on a professional path that included executive appointments at some of the world’s top real estate brokerage powerhouses, and ultimately led to the creation of her own firm. Since entering the profession, Joyce has negotiated more than 600 leases and 50 build to suits, part of a total value of brokerage transactions in excess of $450 million.
