Bruce R. Isaac received his real estate license in 1984 and his Broker license in 1988. Since 1989, Isaac has focused on the leasing, sale and development of commercial and industrial properties throughout Kentucky. He is a specialist in the marketing of retail, office and industrial properties for sale or lease, and assisting various local, regional, national and international companies in locating and developing real estate to meet their needs. Isaac has represented Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. / Sam’s Club in over $110,000,000 in retail land acquisitions and dispositions in KY/IN, which represents over $1 Billion in development projects from this one client.
Isaac sold a 1,000,000 square foot industrial facility, which is one of the largest industrial buildings in Kentucky. He also sold a 100,000 SF industrial facility for Johnson Controls and a 150,000 SF industrial facility for Trim Masters and assisted RR Donnelley & Sons on a 250,000 SF lease renewal. Isaac was appointed the court ordered receiver for one of the largest buildings in downtown Lexington, Chase Tower, a 240,000 SF, 15-story office building. NAI Isaac was also awarded the leasing and management of the property and worked closely with Special Servicer, Torchlight Investors out of New York, in completing two of the largest office leases in Lexington totaling over 71,000 SF and $11.1M in value. Isaac also provided the leasing and management for GE Capital on two mixed-use centers in Lexington totaling over 400,000 SF. GE Capital sold the assets to Blackstone which retained Isaac to lease and manage the centers. Isaac then sold the centers to local investors for $18M.
As a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Isaac received an Associate Degree in Applied Science as a crown and bridge dental technician. He has achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. The CCIM designation is earned upon completion of 240 hours of graduate-level curriculum and represents the finest education available in real estate. CCIM’s are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis. Making it one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. The CCIM is a global community with 13,000 members, 50 chapters and 30 countries. Isaac was also elected to the Kentucky CCIM Chapter Board of Directors in 2010- 2017. Only two percent of all commercial brokers have met the rigorous standards required to earn the SIOR designation and Isaac and was the first SIOR in Lexington, KY. Real estate professionals who hold the SIOR designation are recognized by corporate real estate executives, commercial real estate brokers and agents, lenders and other real estate professionals as the most experienced and capable practitioners in any market.
Isaac was named to Midwest Real Estate News Magazine’s 2017 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. Recipients were chosen by Midwest Real Estate News based on their outstanding performance in commercial real estate, hard work and years of dedication to excellence within their industry. Winners advanced the field of commercial real estate by providing unrivaled customer service to the clients they serve and serve as an inspiration to other professionals in their field. Isaac is a member of NAI Global and in 2009 was inducted into NAI Global’s Elite Top Producer Hall of Fame. The NAI Global Elite Top Producer Hall of Fame is a group comprised of the organizations’ top performers and producers based on being an Elite Top Producer for five consecutive years. Isaac named to the NAI Global’s Gold/Elite Club for over 10 years in recognition of successfully initiating and completing over $1,000,000 of commercial property transactions annually with other NAI brokers worldwide. Isaac is an affiliate member of the Lexington Bluegrass Association of Realtors, Kentucky Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Kentucky Industrial Development Council, Kentucky CCIM Chapter, National CCIM Chapter, Kentucky/Indiana SIOR chapter, the International Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers and NAI’s Industrial, Retail and Investment Councils.
