Lloyd C. Berger founded Berger Commercial Realty in 1998 to provide a uniquely client-centric approach to commercial real estate brokerage and management. For more than 26 years, he has directed the firm’s growth and earned its ranking among the top commercial brokerage and management firms in Florida.

Mr. Berger has built a team of like-minded real estate professionals with extensive market knowledge who share his commitment to superior client service and innovative thinking. Their mission is delivering customized solutions and exceptional value to all client engagements. Mr. Berger provides strategic oversight of all client matters. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed receiver for more than 150 distressed properties throughout the state of Florida.
The privately-owned firm is a member of CORFAC International, a global network of independently owned commercial real estate brokerages with expertise in all sectors of the industry and emphasis on promoting professional standards, best practices and mutually beneficial relationships. Mr. Berger also serves as a member of the board of CORFAC.
In addition to founding Berger Commercial Realty Corp., Mr. Berger is also a principal at Andrews Avenue Residential (AAR), a firm specializing in the management of multi-family communities across Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.
An active participant in Florida’s commercial real estate industry, Mr. Berger is a member of the board of directors of the South Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), and an alumnus of Leadership Broward Class XI. He is also a designated (SIOR) Society of Industrial & Office Realtors.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rollins College and a master’s degree in real estate development from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.
Mr. Berger is particularly proud of his many long-standing client relationships and the role his firm continues to play in representing the interests of domestic and global commercial real estate owners and investors.
