Hector J. Aponte, SIOR, serves as managing director and head of CRES Puerto Rico. Mr. Aponte founded CRES in 1997 following several years as an industry associate at another leading firm. Under his leadership, CRES became Puerto Rico’s largest commercial real estate firm in 2012, when it joined the NAI Global network. With growing demand and a strategic pivot toward the broader Caribbean region, Mr. Aponte transitioned to Newmark in 2015.
Mr. Aponte’s list of transactions since 1997 runs the gamut of industries: hospitality, office, retail, advertising, banking/financial, manufacturing/industrial, food/beverage, government, healthcare, education and niche segments.
