Chris Gerlach is a Principal with CSA’s brokerage group. His areas of expertise include: Tenant Representation, Landlord Representation, and Investment Transactions. He specializes in complex office and industrial transactions.
Before beginning his commercial real estate career in 2014, Chris practiced law for 16 years. He began his career in Washington D.C. with Fulbright and Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and then with Milbank LLP in Silicon Valley before transitioning to in-house practice for Singapore based Creative Labs and Logitech. Chris made the move to Austin in 2010 as Associate General Counsel for LifeSize Communications before making the transition to commercial real estate.
Chris is a native Texan, raised in Wichita Falls and Lubbock before spending time in Colorado, Washington D.C. and Northern California before returning to Texas.
Chris earned his bachelor degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado and J.D from the University of Denver College of Law. Chris has over 16 years of experience representing and guiding business teams of different sizes and in multiple fields. He prides himself on providing thoughtful, client focused counsel to entrepreneurs and established businesses alike. He is committed to delivering effective and practical solutions to his client’s real estate needs.
He and his wife live in South Central Austin (78704) with their dog Olive where they enjoy hosting friends and family in taking advantage of all that Austin has to offer.
