Allen Bolden was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He attended Lipscomb University on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a BBA and Master of Accountancy. Upon graduating and passing the CPA exam, Allen went into public accounting with Crowe Horwath auditing financial Institutions and eventually went to work for a client of the firm, Truxton Trust.
In 2013, Allen started his commercial real estate career at NAI Nashville. In 5 years with the firm, he closed over $40 Million in transaction volume, obtained his CCIM designation and started the healthcare practice.
In 2018, Allen and HBRE Partner, Chris Huskey, started HBRE. Allen has been responsible for closing over $250 Million in transaction volume since the firm’s inception. He won Costar’s Power Broker of the Year Award in 2019, has led the brand to be nationally recognized as a healthcare real estate leader, and was voted Nashville’s top 40 under 40 by the Nashville Business Journal.
Allen enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaila and daughter, Charlee. They like to try new recipes at home, travel for weekend getaways and spend time with family and friends. Kaila and Allen are excited to welcome their second daughter in July 2023.
Raised by his father in a single parent household, Allen spent many years at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle TN (BGCMT) after school. Allen is very passionate about the effectiveness of the program on his life and making sure BGCMT continues to serve the youth of Nashville in the same way. Today, he serves on the Board of Directors and is President of Club Beyond which works to connect the alumni back to BGCMT. Allen is also passionate about getting commercial real estate professionals connected and trained. He has served on the CCIM of Middle TN board for 10 years, serves as the 2023 Chapter President, and earned/joined SIOR in 2023.
