In addition to professional endeavors, Jared and his wife, Michelle, are raising four children and cherish the rich experiences that their Utah environment offers. Together they are passionate about personal pursuits including whitewater rafting, backcountry snow and barefoot water skiing, diving, backpacking, triathlons, and marathon, and ultra-marathon swims and runs. Jared has been elected to public community office, in addition to being elected to boards and presidencies of a number of trade organization and professional societies by his peers, and is fluent in Spanish.
