Bio

As a Vice President at Transwestern, Adam is responsible for identifying and representing existing and expanding Non-Profits, Professional services, Technology, and Start up companies throughout the DMV. He develops a bespoke approach to each client based on industry, business model, and future growth or contraction plans.

Adam has built his career and reputation around his expertise in the real estate needs of businesses. He prides himself on exclusively representing occupiers of commercial real estate, so that he has no conflict in his advocacy for the best possible outcome. His passion for his clients applies equally to a single office lease to a complex, multi-state, multi-party transaction. Adam has an insider’s knowledge of the Washington DC area commercial real estate market and a team of trusted colleagues who work with him outside of the region. A creative thinker, Adam understands the workings of the documents as well as the pain, profit, and motivation points of all the parties involved, so he can facilitate creative solutions that lead to agreements.

Adam represents tenants in a variety of sophisticated transactions that have led to better outcomes for their real estate needs. These have included working with a national organization to develop a multi-site real estate portfolio strategy, structuring a multi-million dollar lease renegotiation, and facilitating subleasing and other actions to maximize the value of a leased space. Adam works with clients of all sizes, helping both tenants and buyers in the greater Washington, DC, area, and coordinates with a team of trusted allies throughout the US and globally. Some of his representative clients include Environmental Defense Fund, State Services Organization, (ISC)2, and Industrious.

A member of SIOR, the leading professional organization and designation for the Commercial Real Estate Industry, Adam serves as Chair of the Member Associate Oversight Committee, and on the Tenant Rep & Corporate Services committees. In 2019, Adam was named a DCA Live Next Generation Real Estate Leader. A proud graduate of Penn State, Adam's family has had ties to the DC area for generations. Adam currently holds his real estate license in DC and Virginia
