Bio

Lisa Brown has numerous decades of experience in corporate communications, nonprofit and entrepreneurial ventures. Her roles in marketing management include a comprehensive background in all aspects of event planning, editorial, advertising, public relations, promotions and project management. She has worked in conjunction with chief executive officers and chief marketing officers to create corporate messaging, cohesive branding standards and strategic marketing plans; has a proven history of making a measurable difference in each firm; and is a strategic partner focusing on goals and objectives to affect the overall success of an organization.

She began her career in residential real estate publishing, transitioning into marketing management roles at Coldwell Banker Residential and GMAC Relocation. Those residential positions propelled her into the commercial real estate world where she served as Pacific Northwest regional PR director at Grubb & Ellis. She was recruited to take on the role of national PR director and was later promoted to national communications director at Marcus & Millichap.

Thereafter, she transitioned to the nonprofit world where she managed NAIOP San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and SIOR Northern California Chapter. In tandem with those roles, she was a daily content editor at Globest.com followed by ConnectCRE. Lisa has bachelor of science and master of science degrees in mass communications.
