Minnesota Dakotas Chapter, SIOR
Scholarship Requirements
- All applicants must be residents of Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota.
- All applicants must hold a valid real estate license in Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota.
- Scholarship funds will be awarded directly to selected recipients upon completion of coursework and submission of appropriate receipts.
- All applicants must be active in commercial real estate for a minimum of three (3) years.
- Scholarship funds must be used for tuition and expenses, including travel and lodging, related to required coursework offered by the SIOR Center for Career Advancement.
Selection Criteria
The selection of scholarship recipients will be determined by a committee made up of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Dakotas Chapter of SIOR, with consideration of the following criteria:
- The applicant's indication of interest in gaining and SIOR designation.
- The applicant's past experience and production record.
- The applicant's past community service.
- The applicant's interest in becoming involved in Minnesota Dakotas activities.
The application must be completed and submitted in its entirety electronically to the Minnesota Dakotas Chapter of SIOR prior to completion of the required coursework. Submit all application materials by e-mail to Duane Poppe at dpoppe@lee-associates.com.
The availability of funds and the offering of scholarships will be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Dakotas Chapter of SIOR.
