Steve Cole holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate license and is an industrial specialist with a keen understanding of the real estate requirements of manufacturing, distribution and logistics firms. He partners with David Weaver of NAI Mertz of PA to cover the industrial and office market in the Scranton - Wilkes-Barre - Hazleton market.
Despite beginning his career during a tough commercial real estate market, Steve has developed a strong track record of industrial and commercial sales and leases. As the market has improved, Steve and the NAI Mertz of PA team have compiled a string of strong quarters for sales and leases at the end of 2014 and beginning of 2015.
As Northeastern PA and the I-81 Corridor has emerged as a highly desired destination for both manufacturers and distributors, Steve has been able to close deals in some of the most in-demand industrial parks, including Hazleton’s Humboldt Industrial Park.
Steve is a member of the NAI Mertz Energy Services Team, which povides real estate solutions for Marcellus Shale firms and other energy companies with requirements in the region. His experience in the energy world includes projects related to wind, solar and natural gas.
Before joining the NAI Mertz of PA team, Stephen was an active Pennsylvania National Guard Soldier. Enlisted in 2003, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2006. Stephen served a year deployment to Iraq serving as a team leader and assisted in running the company’s computer network. Upon his return, he was awarded with an Army Commendation Medal, an Army Achievement Medal and a Combat Infantry Badge for hard work and dedication to the mission. Stephen qualified in two skills in the military, one as an Infantryman and the other as a Tank Gunner.
