SIOR Wisconsin is the state Chapter of the SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND OFFICE REALTORS®, the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. With more than 4,000 members in more than 750 cities in 50 countries, SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. 

SIOR has certified more than 4,000 of its members with the prestigious SIOR designation, a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the real estate industry. Real estate professionals who have earned the SIOR designation are recognized by corporate real estate executives, commercial real estate brokers, agents, lenders, and other real estate professionals as the most capable and experienced brokerage practitioners in any market. SIOR designees can hold the following specialty designations: industrial, office, sales manager, executive manager, or advisory service. 

SIOR also includes associate members who include corporate executives, developers, educators, and other involved in the commercial real estate industry.

A professional affiliate of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, SIOR is dedicated to the practice and maintenance of the highest professional and ethical standards. SIOR maintains a commitment to business and industry by providing outstanding professional services, publications, and educational programs.

Transaction Data shows the success of SIOR members: Extrapolated data shows that in 2008 the average SIOR member estimated that he or she leased or sold an average of 1.4 million square feet of space for a total dollar volume of $25.6 million in 32 transactions.

As a group, SIOR designees sold or leased more than 3.3 billion square feet of space in 83,500 transactions.

SIOR Wisconsin, with 33 designees and associate designees, provides a wealth of educational events and networking opportunities for the commercial real estate community. The chapter is also a proud sponsor of the SIOR Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, recognizing and rewarding outstanding real estate students.

SIOR Wisconsin holds three annual events including a Spring Conference (150 attendance in SE Wisconsin); Golf Outing – jointly with CCIM (120 attendance in Waukesha County); and Fall Pheasant Hunt (75 in attendance at Milford Hills).
